Rally held in NYC to mark 2-year anniversary George Floyd's death

A rally was held in Union Square park Wednesday to commemorate the two-year anniversary of George Floyd's death.

The tragedy of George Floyd’s death is still fresh in the minds of New Yorkers, two years after he was murdered under the knee of former Minneapolis Police officer Derek Chauvin. Floyd was 46 years old.
His name has made its way across every street corner, across the city and country - and the incident has sparked social justice movements and civil unrest across the world.
A rally took place Wednesday in Union Square Park in his memory. The rally featured signs and candles, as New Yorkers gathered to remember what happened two years ago.
Chauvin is now serving 22 1/2 years in prison after being found guilty for both murder and manslaughter.
