A string of violence in Brooklyn has left three people victimized in a 12-hour period.
Police say a 13-year-old who was stabbed in the chest Friday afternoon in Midwood died from his injuries. Police say the teen was stabbed during a fight with two other males in Kolbert Park.
Later, an Ocean Hill man was fatally stabbed in the chest. Police say the victim was dead when they arrived on the scene. They have a suspect in custody.
According to police, a 27-year-old man was shot repeatedly in the torso Saturday morning in downtown Brooklyn. That man is in critical condition at Kings County Hospital. Police are searching for the shooter.
The events have left Brooklyn residents wondering if the violence will ever end. Many say repeated ?stop the violence? marches have had little affect.
