Four LIU Brooklyn basketball players suspended after a campus altercation last month have been reinstated.
Star forward Julian Boyd, along with Jamal Olaswere, CJ Garner and Troy Joseph, had been suspended indefinitely, kicked off campus, and charged with assault, leaving the Blackbirds season in jeopardy.
The university has placed the 22- and 21-year-old student-athletes on probation and are requiring them to participate in an anger management program. They will also miss the first two Northeast Conference games of the season.
