A new report ranked New York in the bottom 10 states for highway performance and cost effectiveness.

The report was done by the Reason Foundation and found more money going toward state highways, but little progress toward improving their conditions. Wyoming, Nebraska and South Dakota were the top three states in the report.

New York also ranked 11th in fatality rates and next to last on the number of deficient bridges in need of repair.

Many people in New York City agree that the roads in the state are bad, especially when it comes to potholes.
