Mayor Bill de Blasio is drawing criticism after a sequence of personal tweets from his official Twitter account during the World Series were found to be coming from one of the mayor's aides.
The Tweets reflected de Blasio's love of the Red Sox, but said, "It's been a privilege to watch this [Mets] team."
"Something happens when you're a Sox fan living here for a few decades," he said after the World Series loss. "You slowly fall in love with the Mets."
City hall is now saying the mayor might have written them differently, but they essentially captured his views on baseball.
