A year-round cruise ship is docked and ready to set sail from Brooklyn come Saturday.
The MSC Meraviglia will leave on its first voyage from Brooklyn to the Bahamas on Saturday morning.
Mayor Eric Adams says the ship will bring a lot of money to the city.
"We expect about 200,000 visitors to the city both from other parts of the U.S. and international markets," says Ruben Rodriguez, president of MSC Cruises USA.
Travel agent Leonie Nicholls expects a lot of New Yorkers will want to book a cruise now since the ship is local.
"They can just hop on," says Nicholls. "There's no flight to add on to it. I think it's a really big deal for New Yorkers and they need to take advantage of that."
The MSC Meraviglia features an arcade, a staircase made of Swarovski crystal and a ton of other activities.
The ship sails year-round to places like the Bahamas, Florida, Bermuda, Canada and New England.
