In the city’s latest “We Outside Summer” announcement, Mayor Eric Adams revealed two newly renovated playgrounds at the NYCHA Kingsborough Houses in Crown Heights.
It’s only a small piece to the $23 million investment into transforming nearly three acres of open space across NYCHA locations.
Alongside the mayor was Iris Rodriguez-Rosa, the newly appointed city parks commissioner.
The renovations are said to put 10,000 more New Yorkers within walking distance of a park.
