Police say two men have been arrested following a stolen car crash in the Five Towns area.
Detectives tell News 12 they were called for speeding cars near the Five Towns shopping center on Rockaway Boulevard.
According to police, there were no vehicles when they arrived, but they were then told of a serious crash down the road.
When officers arrived at that scene, they witnessed several men trying to flee and were able to place two of them under arrest.
Upon
investigating, police say they discovered an unoccupied stolen Honda
Pilot had hit a tree on Rockaway Boulevard. They also located a black
handgun inside.
Police arrested 22-year-old Julius Mosley, and a 17-year-old teenager. They both have been charged.
